Grandpa Frank's Goodies was started in May of 2020 as a start-up business run by Frank Russell's son Daniel Russell. The recipe for this incredible cookie was designed more than 30 years prior in an attempt by Grandpa Frank (prior to receiving the title of "Grandpa") in an attempt to create the ideal chocolate chip cookie - his favorite desert/treat. After days of slaving over a hot stove and checking every known recipe to find what worked and what didn't, finally, the recipe we know and love today was settled on.
To this day there are a numerous amount of people who are aware of these cookies both through our local church and through the insurance business Grandpa Frank built up over the years. He would, every Christmas, deliver a large tin of these cookies to a few people in the church and to a select few of his insurance clients. For some people this became their favorite thing about Christmas! Having grown up in this, his children saw an opportunity in monetizing these delicious delights as a business with guaranteed success due to its product quality. Thus the business was born.
In order to continue with the tradition of business that Frank Russell has used to achieve success in so many ways throughout his life the motto of this business continues to be, "To share the 2 greatest joys in life with as many people as possible -- cookies and Christ!" Spreading love with a great recipe is what we do every day but there is no greater goal than to spread the love of Christ in everything that we do.
